I just installed a Steeda CAI on my wife's 2014 Convert GT. I know a lot of people on this site have done the same. How many have hooked the sound tube back up to the new CAI and why? What purpose does it serve?

 

The sound tube only transfers the intake sound into the cabin thru a vibrating diaphragm . CAI and after market mufflers sound better.
