Question Left Blinker Inoperative

I have a 1992 Mustang LX Convertible. While I was driving through Alligator Alley, I was stopped by the FHP who were very courteous and kind. They issued me a fix-it ticket. strangely as I approached my destination the left blinker started working again, however, it soon became inoperative again.

All other related switches and lights are operative (hazard, right blinker, front and back, brakes, etc). The left blinker arrow is displayed but does not blink. Is anyone able to pinpoint this issue?

TIA

That normally indicates a bad bulb....or maybe a loose connection/bulb.

Thanks for your suggestions. Since the front and back left blinker lights do go on, does this mean it is probably a loose connection? If so, where do I check for this (I am not very mechanical).
