Possible Oil pump issue

Took my oil pump apart on my 1966 289. Is it supposed to look like this on the inside? or is it chipped in some way?

Looks like to me it was casted that way not to shoure.

Im not seeing anything out of the ordinary, if it was chipped or anything youd see shiny material in your oil .
