Default Radio security code

Does the factory radio in my 2000 Mustang have a security code feature? If I disconnect the battery will I need to enter a code into the radio after the power is restored? And if so, where do I find the code?

No, it will lose all of the preset stations but nothing else.
Btw, the engine will need to relearn it's optimum settings, you probably will not notice this.

I am not aware of any Ford that does that.

Welcome to the forum.

security codes are a thing in places like South America and certain regions of Europe, but aren't too common here.
