Default considering getting a foxbody

I'm.not sure that this is the right place for this thread if its not please let me know. I've got a 2002 v6 with a 5-speed and I'd really like to get a v8 but the new edge gt's in my price range are beat to crap. So my question is would it be worth it to get rid of my 02 v6 for a 5.0 foxbody with a manual, or would I be better off keeping my sixxer? Thanks for everybody's opinions!

LOL how bad do you want a V8? Is your V6 nice or ruff? If you plan to leave the car stock just keep your six. If the modding bug is about to bite you'll get a lot more bang for your modding buck with the V8.

Well.. I'd love to dive into modding but like you said I don't feel its worth the money to mod the v6 because there are very minimal gains. As a daily driver is the new edge a better fit do you think?

Sure the new edge V6 is a better daily driver. The V8 uses more gas and stock it doesn't have much more power than your current ride. If you don't plan on modding keep what you have and enjoy it..
