Default Ford Ranger help!

Hey my stepdad has a ford ranger, automatic 2002 v6 4x4. He doesnt take very good care of it, and everytime I drive it there is this vibration comming from the front of the wheels. There is also excessive brake dust build up on his front wheels. Does he need his rotors turned? Its gotta be something to do with the front rotors I think. Thanks for any feedback!

his rotors maybe warped or donno though if that would cause a ton of brake dust. but that could be the prob. also are his tires balanced that could also cause vibration but not the brake dust prob.

Sounds like a tire balance issue to me.

Rotate the tires first to see if it stops.
I had a 96 4x4 ranger and it made a slight vibrating noise while in 4 wd. Once I switched to 2, it was ok. You can jack it up and see if you have any play in the wheels. If so, it could be a balljoint or control arm.
