some times when i come to an almost complete stop or complete stop my RPMs drop to like 300-400 then they return to normal 800 range.. what is it thats causein this

More than likely

More than likely It's the Idle Air Control
sensor.Clean it with injecor cleaner.

The IAC is on the front side of the throttle body,and has a 1/2 inch hose going into it from the intake tube.Just remove this hose and with the engine running spray the injector or carb cleaner into the hose.The MAF is right behind the air filter.
