I mean do i just need a shorter handle, or do I need a whole "boot" thing?

 

that handle wont do u any good, u need the whole short throw shifter. The STS changes the way it shifts. thats just a short handle

 

Dont get steeda. Its a good shifter but I like my MGW much more. Its the blue handle which i dont think is available anymore. I heard the orange one is great though too.

 

The orange handle is great from MGW. It has the shortness of the blue plus the reach of the red one. Best of both worlds.
