Default Need some help thinking about Dynamat????

My first question is how many square feet should I get to do a 1989 mustang GT hatchback(trunk, floor, doors)? Second is dynamat the best product? I know they have others out there? Also what thickness? I have a mildly loud exhaust and want to cut down on the noise. Thanks

I was going to do my car with it before we took it on this year's Power Tour. But after Googling it, and reading up on some reviews I passed. It's rather expensive, and a time consuming job. You can search here or other Mustang Forums and you'll find mixed reviews on it, some loved it, others said it did not make that much difference. It would be cheaper just to switch to a quieter muffler.

I ran out of time before we left, but I found a roll of carpet padding and just did the back floor and seat area in my Notch. It did help quit a bit with the drone in my car. And was free, lol.
