Default 2002 ford mustang driver module/fuel pump testing

Hello looking for help on diagnosing my problem with 2002 Mustang 3.8 v6. While teaching my daughter how to drive a manual ,she bucked it really good. After that it started acting like it was dropping cylinders and then quit . First thought was inertia switch but it never popped. Later that day after tow home ,it started up again .Only ran for short time and would just crank with no fuel pressure at the schraider valve at fuel rail.It still starts sometimes ,but not always. I did the test where I disconnect the fpdm and check voltage in harness and getting 11.4 volts .According to that test I replace the fpdm since over 10.5 .Just not sure if im doing it right . When you do the test you disconnect the plug from fpdm and check voltage .If greater than 10.5 replace. It just odd to replace fpdm while its disconnected during test .I must be missing something obvious. Also ,if I want to test fuel pump what wires do I connect to to jump it ? Thanks for any help .
