Default 95 upper doar seal install

just ordered new door seals from CJ pony parts wile they are on sale.

http://www.cjponyparts.com/upper-doo...004/p/WSDR15P/

I have heard they can be tricky to install because they are made for the new edge and not for the SN95. Can anyone offer some tips to help get them installed properly? I would rather not make them leak worse having never done this before.

Sorry I can't help, but if you don't get an answer here, try the 79-95 Tech section.

The 4.6 section might be a better choice, just because you'll likely get more responses from '96-'04 SN95 owners than you would from '94-'95 SN95 owners. Your question isn't engine-related, but it is body-related. The V6 section might be a good choice too, but keep in mind that according to the forum rules, you can only pick one.

FWIW, I wasn't aware that there even was a difference in weatherstrip between early and later models.

I thought the same thing but when I went to my local Ford dealership they told me the ones for my car were discontinued and the new edge has a different part number. When I mentioned they have the same body they told me the roofline isn't even the same.

Either way I appreciate the advice you have both given me. It's an awkward topic that doesn't have a perfect section that it fits in, but like you suggested I'll have to put it in a section with more viewers.
