Question 289 NOS

will a mostly stock 289 handle a 50 shot of nitrous assuming it is used sparingly

Yes, as long as the motor is in good shape to start with, and it's jetted/timed accordingly for the N2O.

Nitrous is crack and before you know it you'll be rebuilding the motor and spraying 200 shot. Better watch it...
