2018 gauge & ambient lighting issue

When I start my car, it starts with those settings. However, my settings are the Normal mode with the normal exhaust. I would be disappointed if that is the reason my settings are there when I start my car.

Yeah I’m pretty sure no matter how you shut your car off it defaults to normal mode. It says in the manual the car “defaults” to normal Which would also explain why quiet start has to be an option for exhaust. Other wise it “defaults” to normal I believe. This ambient light thing is stupid though. How Ford releases a car with that glitch is beyond me and typical poor ford QC.

So I just checked what my mode saves on my car. It won’t let me save the exhaust mode and it only lets me save the steering mode and start in normal mode in regards to the actual driving mode. (Ex sport+, Track, Normal). Seems like that is definitely a glitch. I’m gonna need to bring this in unless some one here can tell me other wise. It wouldn’t make sense that my mode only lets you save one setting. It would defeat it being my mode. Lol.

jefranks, just curious. Does your car cold start in my mode? No. Right? This is my main question. Because you saying the ambient light setting saved for you although no luck for me though implies it does. I was under the impression it defaults to normal at every start up besides the function of quiet start if you use that for the active exhaust. I have an appointment for next week. Want to know what im dealing with.

So just for anyone with this issue. I went to the dealer. It’s not connnected to “my mode” it’s connected to the memory setting on the door of you have this option. You just hold “1,2, or 3” down until it sets. It’s now set to your key and all the setting for the ambient lighting and gauge colors stick.
