Default Gauge/speedometer cluster question

I have a 2004 v6 that has a speedometer gauge that goes from 0-150 mph. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I believe my car should have one that goes from 0-120mph. Can I buy an overlay or do I need to buy a gauge/speedometer cluster for a v6.

Yeah that looks like its from a GT with the red line at 5800 and the speedo topping at 150. That's probably a cluster unit from a GT with white faced overlay (aftermarket).

Is the speedometer accurate? Because if it is then changing the overlay won't be accurate anymore. The position of the needle at 80mph on the GT is different than 80mph on the sixxer.

Is your car an auto? Just curious where it shifts (if auto).

The speedometer is not accurate. It is of by 20 some mph. Yes, it is an automatic.

Just find an overlay for a V6 car and you should be good.
