Default Door subwoofer

Got a Kenwood receiver installed
have 2 12's in trunk

door subwoofer rca jacks in rear position on reciever

12s rca jacks in subwoofer position

need door subwoofer to use same settings as trunk subs.. as in want no voice in door sub.. and no low bass in the rear speakers...

with rca jacks of sub in door set to rear in receiver, when I adjust the x'overs in receiver settings I'm going to blow the rear speakers or have massive distortion leading to blowing them .

I can set the x'overs to like 250hz for rear then I'm kinda wasting the door subs.

I can set the x'overs to like 90hz for rear then I'll blow the rear speakers eventually...

my receiver has sw , front ,and rear for rca..

what's the solution to this?

any advise is appreciated

thanks in advance

Are you adding door subs, or doing something with the ones that are already
there? If the head unit has subwoofer outputs, that's all you get on them, no
voice.

To determine the crossover frequency a certain amount of capacitance will
give you, use the formula: 0.159/(C x Rh) = F

C - is the capacitance value (in Farads) - to convert to Farads divide the value shown on the side of the cap in uF by one million.
Rh - is the impedance of the load (speaker) you will be using.
F - is the crossover frequency you will get.

The bass cut-off will depend on the ohms of the speaker, and where you want it cut off.
For example, a 250uF cap on a 4ohm speaker will cut off at 159Hz. On a 2ohm
speaker the cut off is 318Hz. So, do the math... You only need to add the Cap to
the speaker to cut off the bass to the rear speakers. The cap will install in line with
the positive lead to the speaker.

Voice is 4Khz, so any subwoofer output will not carry it.

Use separate amps for the subs, and 6x8s. The 6x8 are basically full range, so
why would you use the same amp that's gonna power your subwoofers... Unless
you use a 4-channel amp, then 2 would be set for the subs, and 2 would be set for
full range to the 6x8s in the deck. Even if full range carries more bass than you're
comfortable with, then still use the capacitor for the cut-off.

Don't over think it...
