Default Scratches On Windows

If there is a way to remove scratches on my windows, what is the best way?
I put my windows down and got some scratches going up and down the side windows.

Thanks,

I have the same problem on mine, 87 power windows.
Iv heard that it could be either bent window rods, or you need to replace the window guide bushings.
Im trying to get my windows tinted, but scratching problem has to be fixed first.
Let me know if your find the real problem

Just to repeat first find out what is causing the scratches and get that fix other wise removing scratches is pointless.

then you can have them buffed out at a glass shop.

If the scratches are real light, meaning you can't feel them with your fingernail, try rubbing them out with some toothpaste on a clean rag

Thanks,
In the classic car world, where originality is VERY important, those who have scratches on their windows or windshield, often use the Eastwood window buffing system. With that said, let me qualify it. If you can fell the scratch and it catches your fingernail, then you can NOT buff it out. Even if you have very light scratches and choose to buff them out, it will take a long time to do it correctly and you may have some visual distortion. How about a donor window from your favorite salvage yard?
