Default Which rear sway bar end

Hello, I'm new to the forum and can use a little bit of help. It seems my online searches and measurements are different than what I am encountering here in the brick and mortar stores. I have a 2012 GT 5.0. Like others here I have the dreaded clunk and found to be my drivers side sway bar link. So I read here and find I need a 24mm bar end and not a 22mm. I break out my calipers to confirm. Yep my bar is 24mm. I went to Napa, O'Riellys, Auto Zone and Advance auto. All tell me I use a 22mm. They only carry 17mm and 22mm and have never heard of a 24mm, yet I see 24mm's online. Is it possible that all the big chain stores are mistaken.

You probably have an aftermarket sway bar.

My Amazon Energy Suspension arrived. I went ahead and installed the 24mm kit, which amazon said was the right part for my mustang. Clunk is now gone. So I guess to answer my own question all of the parts stores here are wrong. A 2012 Mustang GT non V-6 uses a 24mm, NOT 22mm.
