I have an 06 convertible. The driver-side top latch won't stay locked. It will pull the top closed and when I move the handle forward I can feel it snap into position. When I put the slightest amount of backward pull on it or when driving on a rough road, it will snap open. I talked to a convertible top guy and he said it needs to be adjusted. His worst-case estimate to do the job was in the neighborhood of the $180. I'll bet I can buy a brand-new latch for a lot less than that. I took it apart and could find no way to adjust it.

Anybody have any suggestion as to what my next step should be?
