Default Transmission

I think I briefly read that the 2024 Mustang is going with a clutchless automatic/manual transmission that has 2 or maybe 3 modes, automatic, sport and manual mode where you put in drive then tap the shifter left or right to put into manual mode which obviously allows you shift up and down at the right RPM. I only know this because my 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited turbocharged with all wheel drive already has this transmission and in my opinion it’s an awesome transmission even though I can’t do burnouts on dry pavement do to the all wheel drive.
Can’t post photos of my automatic transmission shifter to show what I’m talking about.
