Default Sorry but another oil question…

I’m new here and appreciate the good info I’ve been reading but I still have a question. When I bought my 2021 GT I bought a oil change package for several years. Today at 1,860 miles I went in for the first oil change. I asked the Service writer about using Mobil 1 or a similar full-synthetic. He said they used synthetic blend which is what Ford recommends. I even asked when I purchased the oil change package if he would indicate Mobil 1 and I was told that is what I got. The Service writer said it did not say that anywhere in their computer and they didn’t recommend it since that’s not what Ford recommends. He then assured me that I’m getting what I paid for. So I decided it’s only for a limited time I’d just roll with it. I also got some story about full synthetic not letting the rings seat properly la-dee-da.
Over the years I’ve had numerous motorcycles and higher performance cars; and Mobil 1 has always been what I used ever since my 1987 Grand National, 3 Mustang GT’s and other performance cars. Mobil 1 states they do not void mfgs warranty. But I wanted to ask this Forum about:
1. Synthetic blend being what Ford says to use (as opposed to them not wanting to spend the money in the oil change package they sell).
2. Is the story about the rings seating properly bs? The Service writer seemed to know more about video games than cars.
3. My car is a manual 6speed and I don’t drive it hard or race but I’m in the yellow indications for about every shift.

So just curious about the forum members thoughts on these things…
(and thank u in advance )

I've used synthetic blend and full synthetic. Mostly synthetic when I can get it on sale. Never heard of the issue you described. Had 222,000 miles on my 2007 V6 when I traded it. Have 158,000 on my current 2006 V8.

What you say was/still is my understanding and that’s why I mention it here to get some educated feedback experiences rather than the Service writer who has been told what to say to save them money. Since I have a limited number of oil changes with the dealership I will just go with the syn-blend and then change over to Mobil 1 when they expire.
Thanks
