Default Break In Period

I took possession of my 2023 Atlas Blue GT Mustang today. So, my question is.......is there still a break-in period on this car? My salesman told me no.

Typically in the past you would need to follow these guidelines the first 500 to 1,000 miles:
1) Vary speeds
2) Don't tach it out (less than 4,000 rpm)
3) Change oil early
4) If driving long distances stop for awhile every so often

Thoughts?

What, almost 100 views but no responses?

C'mon guys, help me out here. I want to treat the new 2023 Mustang right.

Well I always take it easy for the first 500 miles. No hard acceleration, varying the speed, a couple of quick blips up to 60 or so, but mainly steady cruising between 40 and 60. And then change the oil and filter. Baby it now and it should last.
