I'm a jeep guy myself, but have you guys thought about using selectable lockers in your rear ends? If you still need to use it as a daily driver, it would be an awesome idea, and the durability of a fully locked rear end is nice, especially when you can engage it whenever you like. ARB lockers are what I'm mainly talkin about by the way.

100 horsepower you say? I might have to get my money together this week. does that mean about a second off my 1/4 times? because that would be nice.

if not, then damn near......as long as all else is up to snuff.

gearing will give the best bang for buck other than nitrous, especially when your so undergeared as you are

The 73 Mach is a pretty big Mustang to have the 2.75 gears. I know cause that's what mine has. The 3spd auto does ok off the line but could do a lot better with higher ratio gears. I would loose top-end though. I've been thinking about maybe going to a higher ratio but not to 4.11. I'm thinking that would drop top-end to somewhere around 100. It's a lot higher than that now.

The 100hp gain is not REAL hp, only feels like it. Your robbing top-speed for to pay for better acceleration.
