hey guys I'd just thought i'd post this. did any of you know svt dropped a lighting motor in a standard cab ranger. It's a monster I have an mm&ff mag on it they said it runs 13.6 with traction problems,and there's no furture plans for production though<img border="0" src= smileys/smiley13.gif>.I wish they would. that might be somewhat of a sleeper if you ask me

i saw in a mag where they put a lightning motor in a 87'-93' style mustang and was running 11's to 10's

 

I head about the Ranger, it was made at the Roush building, not far from where I work. Sounds like a nightmare for rear ends and transmissions unless you beef those up too, but then again I'm no mechanic and could be wrong.

 

ln the latest issue of MM&FF magazine, they put a '03 Cobra motor into a Marauder. Totally awesome.

 

I thought they just put the supercharger on it not the whole motor. in the marauder.??

 

lt was this guy that lives in Florida that dropped in a Cobra engine into his Marauder. He said it was a pain in the *** but he's having fun with it. l think he had x-pipes too.
