Getting quick to the point. Engine while in park, idling suddenly jumped to 6000 rpm’s and stayed until I quickly turned the key off. When turning it back on no problems. Check engine light never comes on. I thought I had a transmission problem and was checking to see if the computer had stored any codes when it happened. It has done this only in park before off and on. . Transmission doesn’t want to shift gears . I’m assuming both issues are possibly related. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
