Fox Body VS SN95
i would vote for the SN95
as far as driving in the rain, ive driving my car in the snow and i drive in the rain all the time, never had a close call in the rain. Personally everyone over reacts about a mustang in the rain. if you drive like a ******* then yes your gunna have trouble in the rain. but respect the car and you will have no problems. i love driving in the rain its fun. if you know the car and know its limits, you can have fun in the rain.

Fox bodies are out of the picture. They are selling for the same price as the SN95. Just can't see paying so much money for an older car when I get more safety features with a 94-95.
in my opinion, foxes just look better, plus 87-92 5.0s already have forged internals, if you end up getting an SN95, get the 5.0 cause instead of getting a single port GT i would just go up and get a split port 6er
i just finished reading pretty much this ENTIRE thread and i guess it's time for my .02 of info. personally i wouldn't get a v8 for my kids 1st car. i just turned 22 and my first car was a 93 eclipse. you're not going to have to worry about snow in GA so i don't think that's even a factor. and speaking from personal experience if the power is there YOU'RE GOING TO BE TEMPTED TO USE IT, regardless i don't care what anybody else on this thread says. i consider myself a VERY good driver, prob the safest out of my friends, but that doesn't mean that i haven't deicided to see how fast i can go 'while no one's around.' i know guys and girls think differently and i don't know the first thing about your daughter, she may be one of the best drivers in the world, but like i said if the power is there she'll use it eventually. and for that i say get a v6. i've seen too many kids around here die b/c they don't know what they're doing.
I can't do 100 in my RX7. I am accelerating hard at 85, then it's like I took my foot completely off the throttle, and you get lunged foward. I still have 1000 rpms to use in 4th, and all of 5th. I am ready to shake my 90mph speed limiter.
