Thermostat install
Finished a swap of a 195 stock thermostat to a 180 degree thermostat today. Had to do it two times to seal it right and I thiiiiink that I may have gotten some more power from the warm engine. TRhe current MM and FF said that I could get 4-6 hp from this easy swap. The only difference that I notice is that MAYBE I changed in speed to rpms. I was at about 2000rpms- 60 mph and now at 2000rpms to around 62 mph. I said MAYBE. Does this sound right at all to anyone???

RE: Thermostat install
The engine speed to vehicle speed should not change since it is directly related to gearing not engine power. You probably do have a few more hp however.
