CAI install on V6 vs. V8

my friend wants me to install his ebay CAI on his 2000 V6. I have done this on my car, is anything really different that i should be aware of, or is it pretty much the same. Does everythign hook up the same such as the MAF aic, etc.

damn some pump or w/e didn't reach it so i had to go out to pep boys a buy a new one lol.
