Default How much....(paint job)

How much on Avg. would a solid, one color paint job be for a LX foxbody hatchback be....anyone know? Thanks!

$2-4000 for a good job with quality paint and minor body work. You get what you pay for with paint and body work, always remember that.

around here you can get a decent job for around 1500. like JD said ya get what you pay for ask around see if you get any recomendations form people.

One other thing, one persons idea of a "good paint job" can be very very different than anothers. Personally I consider 99% of all factory paint jobs to be barley acceptible, most have WAY too much orange peel and the clear is usuallt too thin to wet sand and buff.

Unless it looks like this during the prep stage, it will not be a first class paint job. You simply have to make dang sure all rust issues are dealt with first. So, the fenders, trunk lid and hood and doors have to come off and stripped to bare metal. My paint job cost me 5 grand. But, it will never need another one. And yes, the factory paint jobs leave too much orange, but with a decent job, you can wet sand it to give you an outstanding shine.
