i have a auto 01 4.6 ford mustang gt with k&n intake filter kit, super 40's flowmaster kit and a hypertech programmer

what RPM should i program the car to shift at to go the fastest(gear 1-2 and 2-3)i have stock rear gears

my friend wants to race me with is standard old heavy stock 3.8 supercharged thunderbird

i run mid 14's before i used the hypertech programmer

will i win?

can you give me some advice on adding a few more cheap horsepower before the race. i want to durst him

 

According to http://www.ssmoparmuscle.com/speedcomp.htm you should beat him by about a full second.I have a manual trans but I would think that the closer the shift points were to redline at WOT the better.
