yeah i heard you're only supposed to turn off the TC if you're stuck, b/c then it'll just burn up your brakes and keep detuning ur engine...

in order to "stage" it, turn off TC, leave it in drive or put it in first with O/D off, pull the e-break and go as far down as you can on the break pedal, rev the engine to about 1500 rpm or so then let off the e-break first then the breaks right as that comes down if you have an auto, if you have a stick just rev and dump, the green light is saying that trac is active.

I have 3:73's and i cant remember if i hit 4th gear it was a while ago.

Well if what he says is true, yes you need O/D on or else your ganna rev out 3rd and quit.

How far does third gear go with normal gears..cause i only hit 90 in 1/4
