Default Painting A GT Hood!

I have a person that is going to sell me a GT Hood with nothing wrong with it for a $100. The only thing is I have to get it painted to match my car. Can anyone name a few places that would paint it and what would a round about cost for painting it be. I live in Norfolk, VA if that helps anyone.

Thanks,

Mike

I think you already have the exact same hood as a GT. All you really need to do is add the scoop which is easy enough because it's fake anyway.

To get the other hood painted should not be too expensive but they will have to take the scoop off to do it properly. As long as you are not looking at any repairs, it shouldn't be more than 3 or 4 hours work plus the cost of paint. You have the advantage of being able to leave the hood with them so you should get a slightly better deal.

What color is your car? The paint might have faded on it enough that the new hood might just stick out like a sore thumb.
