I was making a left hand turn on a green arrow and this GIANT raised SUV type thing was going really slow around the turn so as soon as i got through the intersection I punched it to get around him but as soon as I punched it and right when I heard my tires break lose, I heard a noise come from the back of my car (i dont remember what it sounded like) and then immidiatly, the entire car started shaking. I pulled into a parking lot right away and noticed that as long as I stay under 10 mph its fine but once i hit like 15 the whole car shakes really bad. did I do something to my rear suspension?

 

I don't think you broke an axle shaft -- you wouldn't be going anywhere at any speed. But you broke something, maybe a locater rod, so get it to a shop soon!

 

is this something that can be easily replaced? pricy? can it be avoided by building my rear end to handle more power?

 

that all really depends on what is broken. If you can't diagnose it yourself, I would get it to a shop ASAP.

 

check your ujoints. See if you have any play in your driveshaft.
