Default Converting a V6

This is my first post so go easy on the rookie here...lol...I have finally found a 98 V6 convertible and I want to build this into a street car primarily. I have some knowledge, but nowhere what I need to do this on my own. Its an auto which I plan to swap out for a Tremec TKO. My question or ?'s are where do I begin? Suspension, motor driveline? I plan on sinking alot of cash into this project so please any help would be greatly apprerciated.

sell the convert and buy a gt coup. that will save you a lot of money if ya wan to go fast. yeah i know you can build a v6 up but you can build up a v8 for the same money and get more power.

he is right. I mean, you can still get a vert if you want, but, I would get a v8. Unless you want to build the v6 JUST BECAUSE or because you want to do stuff to it that not many have. Then go for it. Otherwise, get a v8 and you'll put less money in the v8 than the v6. I've done both.

good luck.

go over to supersix motorsports and get a 4.3 stroker motor, get some nitrous too, you should be down in the 11s when it is all said and done
