I think that I would see if I couldn't up-grade to forged pistons. It shouldn't be more than $200 or so. Otherwise I'd say that it don't to bad.....

Thanks just a few more questions and I'll be done, then I'll get back to you guys in a few months with some videos and let ya know how it turns out. Forged pistons why would I need them? Could I put a supercharger on that motor later on?? Would it handle it?

The forged pistons are gonna be stronger than the hyperuetectic but the hyperuetectic pistons are a little lighter. if you plan on runnign the engine as is the hyperuetectics will be fine but i fyou want to supercharger it i would say go ahead and get a forged upgrade but you will also have to lower your compression to allow for the boost witch will lower the hp tqe ratings for it as a na motor.

ya let us know how it goes.. come this summer im looking to get a crate engine.. i was looking at the ford racing one.. but for the price this engine seems to be worth it.

Forged pistons will handle either F.I or N20. They are more malable being a forging over a casting, meaning they are tougher and they won't break.
