Default ’84 front cap o



1.Will a 1984 mustang fit on a 1989 mustang. </P>


2.i am putting a 351w and a FMX in the 89 and would like to know if there are anything special that i will need to change or replace.</P>


3.If some one would point me to a wiring diagram to convert the car from FI back to a Carb. that would be nice to.</P>

First of all yeah those nose cones are interchangeable but usually everyone goes for the later model front clip on the older car.</P>


As far as that FMX tranny JUNK IT!Those tranny are not the best choice for a performance car.That and parts are getting scarce.</P>


As far as going back to carb from efi its as simple as new intake,car,and a new distributor.If you arent a fan of points style ignitions go with the duraspark 2 setup.But make sure if you are buying new or used it has the steel gear for your roller cam if you have one.If buying new get a mustang GT 5 speed (1985) duraspark 2 distributor.It has the gear you need and already has a nice curve to it.Other than those things i said its as easy as swapping the intakes carb and distributor.</P>
