Default Targa Top..................................

I am looking into getting a Targa Top when I paint my car in the future. I know it says you have to get subframe connectors, but what else will I need to get to make sure my car is still stable?

What are the side effects of these kits? Let me know! Here is the site I am looking at...

IMO I would not do it. Mustangs don't really have a very stiff chassis and even with sub frames it is still not that stiff. The roof is a very structural part of the car. Side effects might be, leaks, squeaks and rattles, and poor handling. I suppose if you never ever plan on racing the car and put in sub frames that make 100% contact the entire length of the floor pan, you might be OK.

Agree with JD. It just doesn't seem like a good idea to cut the whole roof out of the car. That, and if you get in a wreck with the Targa off and get really hurt, I'd be willing to bet insurance would not cover you (especially if the wreck involved you coming out of the car)
