Raced the stang this weekend and on my take off and when I was accelerating sparks were coming from the front of my car on both sides below the fender well just above my tires. The car is running fine, sounds fine and looked fine, couldn't find anything that might have caused them. Any ideas??</TD></TR>

Well, friction cause those sparks...pull the wheels off and have a looksee.

<TD id=HB_Focus_Element vAlign=top width="100%" background=" height=250 UNABLE="off">well it was the first time running it since the new motor, I drove it 800 miles to break the engine in, but once i started thinking today of what could have done that , I had just had the Hurst Line Lock put on and never really played with it till the track, so I think it might have been caught up or not fully disengaged.</TD></TR>

You might wanna wait alittle long then 800 miles. I just did my motor in Oct. it only has 2000 miles on it. And i'm gonna wait until 3000 miles to really get on it. Even thought i'm dieing to. But i can still spank EVOs. With out really getting on it. But i still can't wait.<IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0"></P>

hell 800 miles,it would take me a year or more.i'm only waiting 50 miles,than foot to the floor...were you running open headers?? when the sparks flew??
