I dont really feel like takin any pics right now, but this is pretty much what it looks like.. http://www.gefracing.com/Merchant2/g...1/9424p46s.jpg
Anyone know if there is a way to tell if it is a PI intake manifold or just a replacement?
Also the picture of the manifold is a PI intake manifold so it might not look the exact same.

in 96' there was a recall on the intakes because they cracked, good chance yours was replaced, call your dealer and ask if the recall correction has be completed on your car, they will need your VIN.
Get in contact with the previose owner and ask them where they had their work done, when and if they can contact the dealership to release all information to you, unfortunatly you can not get any service records without the original owner (Or owner at the time of repair) permission given directly to the dealership.
The 96' GT my wife wanted to buy almost two years ago had the intake recall performed and the new intake was silver aluminum, not plastic. That leads me to believe that the stock intake is plastic, calling the dealership is the ultimate way to find out for sure.
