351 windsor help

Default 351 windsor help

i have 1996 gt 2valve gt i want to build the motor but it is a bit of a bastard of a motor to modify. so my quetion to you guys is should i build the motor that is in it or build another one i would like to have about 400hp at the wheels all motor not sure on witch route to go im am kind of new to the whole mustang modification thing i know ther a lot of opptions out there but not a lot for the 96 gt 2 valve motor so i wolud like some input from the pros. thanks alot for your time.

well first off ditch the heads and intake and go for the pi heads intake you will pick up a lot of hp there.


as far as a windsor vs. rameo (what ever it is) i think the windsor block is suposed to be a little better it has larger oiling passages.

but if you stick with the stock pistons in that 96 they aren't real strong but you will have around 10:1 compression with pi heads.
