I was just wondering what kind of suspension mods should somebody do to a 88 gt with moderate engine mods and Ill probably be putting in 373 in rear end as well. Any help would be great.

i would suggest springs and shocks and struts. depending if u want a drag or performance street car determines what kinds........if u wanna take it up a notch.......replace rubber with polyurathane........than get the car braced and you'll be in buisness

for road race, look into a coil-over kit w/ stiff springs, strut tower brace, subframe connecters, their k-member is SICK!!!!

on a not so crazy modded car , obvious springs and matched shocks, weakness in the rear is basically the whole set up , the rubber control arms deflect alot , and uppers and the whole design dosent really do its job above stock driving , (which no stang guys does) and the sway bar acts through the lower control arms , cheaply what you need to do it get some aftermarket arms in back , with springs+shocks, at a minimum, panhard, torque arms type stuff and adj sway bars if you want to go all the way . up front springs+struts , control arm bushings , rack bushings, and sway bar end links are minimum, thoses are the worst up front , up from that is coil overs ,a arms .......,

but im assuming your not going nuts , my recomendation s , springs+shocks, rear control arms , chassis stiffing kit, (subs, strut,k memeber braces), and some bushings up front , and yopu will notice a dramatic improvement,

i am also a M+M dealer , if you want stuff from them drop me a mail , good luck

Depending on you cash flow. I would check out **X**** motorsports. You can get a killer setup from 2,000 to 4,000.
