It seems as though every once in a while my left headlight will go out as well as the left corner light. The bulbs are good because the lights are only out some ofthe time. Also, the high beams indicator on the dash goes on and off at will and doesn't seem to have any association with the headlights being on or off. Does anybody have any idea what this might be?

I just noticed some lights work when the tree on the left is moved one way and other lights work when the tree is shifted the other way. Does it sound like I'll be needing to re-wire something in the dash or at the lights or what?

 

only wat to find out for sure is to follow the electrical from the problem allthe way back. could be a break in the wire. good luck. i hate electrical problems

 

It is very likely to be a bad ground, that would be about the only common wire to the two lights you are having problems with, so I would start there. Check to see if the ground wire (return path wire which often just goes to the body or somewhere close), is loose, or the contact point corroded, etc.

 

Would the ground wire be coming right off the lights and onto the chassis somewhere?

 

no probably runs through the original wiring harness to a common ground
