I found the same thing with my '98 Stang Vert. I suspect that it may be the water that runs down the rear window. The vinyl overlaps the glass at the bottom and the water can go underneath. That's my theory, but I've only had the car for a short time and have not had the oppertunity to check it out completely. I removed the carpet from the trunk and from under the spare and dried it out good when I found it wet. I remove the rear floor mats to allow the rear carpet to dry also. Let us know if you find a cure.

I don't have a 94 but I am struggling with the same kind of thing. A lot of people seem to have problems where the window is attached, In my case it appears to be where the top meets the car body. That little spot forms a tiny lake due to the lip of the body. On mine, there is a rubber gasket partway around and then the rest of the way it looks like the top is bonded or attached the the body. Right where the gasket stops and the fabric starts seems to be leaking. I got a big blob of goop at the hardware store and sealed the whole area but have not had a chance to really test it yet.

My suggestion, have someone hold a hose over the roof while you look from the inside, you should be able to quickly spot where its coming from.

Hope that helps!

Mark
