Default Electric Fan.....Yes? No?

Does anyone know anything about the Proform electric fan for 5.0s? I was reading somewhere that it only cools up to 250hp and i do believe (although there is no dyno results to back it up) that I am way past this mark. The specs about it are exactly like the Flexalite black magic mustang fan, but it is only $107.00 Any informations will greatly help.

Here it is in the Jegs catalog

i have a black magic fan, and i'm over 250 hp, and it cools my car good
now that i removed the a/c condenser, i also had to move up to a 130 amp alt.

if you still have stock pulleys you might get away with it, i have u/d pulleys
i'd get a 130 amp anyway, a stock alt. on a fox is only 75 amps

a Dual electric fan system running 2500cfm each fan will cool $750hp. A 3000cfm system from 1 or 2 fans will cool 450hp just find. A 2500cfm fan will cool 350 Fine. Basicly you are most safe with a thermostat triggered dual electric fan system where the secondary fan kicks on at a certain higher temp than the first fan. Personally I would not spend the money unless it was what I just described with 5000cfm min, its not worth the money IMO to buy something that you may have to upgrade later. Its not like its much more, a kit of that design will run about $400

Good Luck
