I have a 99 GT. I really like the look of the bigger factory hood scoop from the younger models (my GT just has the smaller inset scoop) My question is : should I buy a hood from a junk yard? OR are those ebay GT hood scoop the same thing that I can just stick on there? Thanks

I have read that the hoods are the same underneath those bigger scoops.I figure that if you look around in the classifieds you will find one from one of the newer cars.A lot of people don't particularly care for the large scoop ,myself included,and have removed them or replaced the entire hood.Me too,as soon as I can get Mrs.Chopper to release the funding.Mrs.Chopper=Chief Financial Officer.
