I thought they where useless on snowy road. What are some good brand snow tires?

 

I think they still are, unless you are driving an underpowered Vsick <edited><editID>NO2JUNKIE</editID><editDate>38017.978599537</editDate></edited>

 

Im running Toyo's.. they are rain tires but still do pretty good.... Not so good on ice though..... Want to look for a skinnier tire thatll help more in the snow the wider the tire the more youll slide......</P>


It snowed here tonight while I was in town car did good all the way home till I got to my driveway had to leave the poor girl out on the road tonight wouldnt make it up......</P>

 

I had an 88 5.0. auto that I ran once with an inch or so of snow oh the road. It wasn't too bad until the road became uneven. It immediately slid into the lowest point (at 35 mph) and forget about going up hills.

 

^Which is why RWD is pretty much usless in Cincinnati for a winter beater.

We're called the city of Seven Hills for a reason....and they ain't no little hills that we're named after.

 

Only took that 1 time for me. Quit driving it for the winter after that.
