understeer means your car doesnt turn enough right?

umm maybe your wheels dont have enough toe in. or maybe your allignment is off. are you getting wierd tire wear patterns?

it means the car pushes through a corner even thought the wheels are truned the car doesn't repond right. btw if ya haven't noticed mustangs handle like a ***. if you got out of some kind of import or some car that handled well and started driving a mustang that could be your problem.

if you really have too much understeer, then something is way off.

Mustangs do handle like **** but understeer is not a problem I have ever seen. If anything they suffer from extreme oversteer.

Are you lowered? Had any suspension damage in the front? Is the "understeer" the same when you are turning left AND right or only in one direction.

Ok, from a racing standpoint...

you can jack up your front pressure a bit to get the tires hotter. Also, running a little bit of negative camber in the front will INCREASE your contact patch when turning but DECREASE it when going straight, so braking will change... longer stopping distance. Also, by doing this youll notice your inside edges will wear faster and they will be hotter, so if you have a pyrometer youc an look for a 10-15* increase in temp.

This is just what wed do on the track to account for these problems, there are a few other fixes as well. Keep in mind though, these changes can/will mean unsafe conditions on highway/street driving. I wouldnt do this if it is your daily driver
