Default Head Gasket

I need some help on a ford Ranger. The coolant is mixed in with the oil. I think it is the head gasket. What do you think. Where do I start? I don't have the money to take it in and I am not selling my mustang to fix it. Anyone know where I can get a repair manual for free?

damn well i was gonna tell you on a 2.3 if you over heated it you probably cracked a head but i don't know on the 4.0L i have never delt with them.

do a compresion test to see if you can find out which side is leaking. Might be the intake gasket. Might be the head gasket or a cracked head. Some Rangers like 2.3 turbos had water/oil coolers at oil filter. That can go bad and mix.

I think it is the head because there is oil in the fill and breather.
