Steeda Mustang ?'s
I'm new to the forum world, but i figured there's no better place to get my info than you all. I've recently purchased my Steeda Mustang, and had to replace the motor. I've put in a new motor and reattached all the fun. When i started it up it ran beautifully, except for a whine in the supercharger, it's really more of a rubbing of metal sound, it's not terribly loud. My question is, is that just something that will go away once the supercharger has got some oil in it? I realize there will be the fun sound of a supercharger as it's running but i don't think i should be hearing this particular noise at idle....Any thoughts? as well if you have any pointers or recommendations of things to be aware of to look out for, with a supercharger, this is my first one and i don't want to screw things up, do i need to have it redue anything with the supercharger? It's a beautiful car and i want to cherrish it for all time. (i'll have some pics soon) Another Question? What do you all recommend as the best street/road tires? I'm thinking of using the BFG g-force KDW. Mid priced? Thanks.
the belt seems to be fine.... It's a Vortech s-trim Supercharger... And as for pics i'm working on getting those up soon... she's just too pretty to have pictures that don't do her justice
you know what i mean....
