Id have to agree with it bein the thermostat, that sounds exactly like what happened with my tbird when it went bad. Then it blew a head gasket<IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0">. But yeah it did have a bad thermostat, and besidea arnt those things fairly cheap so it wont be the end of the world if you are wrong

ya I spent something like $4 bux on it and an 89 cent gasket and some Permatex.</P>


GMkiller i know what you mean, I have had experiance with these 3.8 heads cracking and failing, my 87 Tbird had a head crack and kill the engine. These heads are crap and I wish they would make a much stronger head to take place of these, GIVE ME CAST IRON DAMNIT!</P>


So are what are the huge differences with these restrictors? Who would sell these? Napa?</P>
