I did that on the 5 minute unhook but no go so there must have been something left in it. But im glad that it is off now, its nice not having that yellow light always there..

And as for Mazda, Shame on your for that suggestion, lets hope you werent serios.

Hey that OBDII is pretty nice, I will have to get that one untill we can get the master kit from Snap-On or Mac. And its cheap ($169.99), unlike the master kits

Just FYI for all concerned...I found that Advance Auto will read your ODBII codes and clear them for FREE!!! Found that out when I wasn't willing to part with $80 for somecarpet baggerto doit for me!! Autozone probably will too, but around here those guys really were raised under power lines.

Heh, thats my plan since I expect to encounter this many more times as I modify my engine and tune different things. Im one of those guys that likes to try tweak things a little differently

FYI, I have a 95 5.0. This was the last year for OBD-I (at least on Mustangs).
You can get a digital OBD-I Scanner for $39.95 from Kragen. According to the book, it takes 40 cycles (turning car on/off) to clear the CEL.
